The Bemidji Public Library, in partnership with the Beltrami County Master Gardeners, will be offering a seed-starting class on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 at 10 AM with Dan Sherman. Dan has been gardening since he was 12 years old.  He would like to share his experience with starting plants indoors from seeds. There are many ways to garden and he will tell you what works for him. Topics will include selecting seed, soil and containers, dates to start, lighting and heating, disease prevention, and preparing for transplanting.
