All are welcome at this event which will feature keynote speaker, Dr. Veronica Pinnick, NASA engineer, and an interactive panel discussion. Panelists will answer questions about their careers and offer advice and encouragement to young people who are interested in working in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields someday. The event will begin with hands-on STEM activities and demonstrations and will include a designated area where young children and their families can enjoy STEM fun for little ones! Attendees who are 18 years and younger will receive a swag bag and be eligible for door prizes. We think everyone will be inspired and empowered by our team of Superstars, and we hope those who are interested in a STEM career will find the confidence to explore that possibility. As with all library events, there is no charge to attend.
