"They Brought Their Songs" with musical trio Caleigh @ Park Rapid's Armory Arts and Event Center 6:30 p.m.

Kitchigami Regional Library is proud to present the acclaimed folk ensemble Caleigh. Titled “They Brought Their Songs: International Folk Music in Minnesota,” the evening celebrates the rich cultural heritage that has shaped Minnesota through music, storytelling, and shared traditions.  Join us as Caleigh brings history to life through song—connecting audiences to Minnesota’s past while celebrating the shared traditions that continue to shape its cultural landscape.

Audiences will experience a vibrant program of songs representing Scandinavian, German, Italian, Finnish, Native American, French-Canadian, Irish, and other cultural influences. This engaging performance highlights the diverse ethnic roots of Minnesota while offering a delightful and meaningful musical journey for all ages.

This Legacy program is funded in part or whole with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008, which dedicated funding to preserve Minnesota's arts and cultural heritage. No registration is required and is free to the public.
