Nicolas Carter Presents Hanish and the Story of the Harp

The Bemidji Public Library and Headwaters Music and Arts are excited to announce that we will be hosting Nicolas Carter, a talented harpist, author, teacher, and playwright on Friday, June 23 at 10:00 am. This event is free, family-friendly, and open to all. It will be held in person at the library, located at 509 America Avenue in Bemidji, and will also be streamed live on Facebook.

Nicolas Carter was born in Minnesota and raised in Paraguay, where he has been playing the Paraguayan Harp since he was a child. A Fullbright Scholar teacher, and playwright, Nicolas has gained international recognition for his performances. We are thrilled to have him visit the library and read from his children's book, "Hansish- The Story of the  Harp"

In addition to his presentation at the library, Nicolas will be performing a free concert at Headwaters Music and Arts on Thursday, June 22 at 7:00 pm. The school is located at 519 Minnesota Ave Nw, Bemidji.

The Bemidji Public Library is committed to providing our community with valuable resources and services. We offer a variety of services, including WIFI, fax, printing, copying, and a legal kiosk.
