Legacy – Indigenous Earrings Take n Make Kits (Pine River)

Tawny Cale, of Sister Beads, will lead you through step by step to create a pair of beaded earrings. Each kit will have all supplies needed to make the earrings and instructions. Tawny also will be including an instructional video we will post to the library’s Facebook and YouTube pages for one week. Kits will be ready to pick up March 22-27, 2021.
Not only will you make a pair of earrings, Tawny will also teach you the meaning of the design and “fire” colors used.
Tawny Cale, is an enrolled member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe as well as a descendant of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa and the Spirit Lake Nation. She loves to share her beadwork knowledge with others, creating custom beadwork with her sisters under the name “Sister Beads.”
