Legacy: Four Authors, Four Perspectives – Bemidji

Marcie Rendon, an enrolled member of the White Earth Nation is a playwright, poet and author of Murder on the Red River and Girl Gone Missing. Art Coulson, Cherokee, is an award-winning journalist and author of Unstoppable: How Jim Thorpe and the Carlisle Indian School Football Team Defeated Army. Nora Murphy is a 5th generation Irish-American Minnesota resident and author of six books, including White Birch, Red Hawthorn: A Memoir. Mai Moua is the founder of the Hmong literary arts journal Paj Ntaub Voice and author of The Bride Price: A Hmong Wedding Story. Panel discussion will be moderated by Sue Bruns, local author and educator.
