Location:
Directions to Branch: From Highway 200 turn south on Highway 84 for five miles. The library building is on the west side of Highway 84.
Brief History: The Margaret Welch Memorial Library was established in 1955. We joined the Kitchigami Regional Library in 1970. Longville is the smallest town in Minnesota to have a public library.
Summertime Pre-school Story Time:
This program will be held June 4 - August 14 each Thursday at 10:30 am.

Window Marker Art - sign up in advance to create a marker masterpiece on the library windows - prize drawing at the end of the summer.
Creative Crafts for kids - (June 12 - July 31) 1:30-3:00pm. Create a craft or take part in a special project.
June 26th: Longville Idol Talent Show 6:00pm. Kids (6 & up) pre-register at library by June 19th.
July 23rd: Imagineering @ Your Longville Library Magic Show 10:30am - all ages welcome! A fun show for everybody! Snack provided following the performance.
August 7th: Teen Summer Reading Party 5-6:30pm at the library (for registered teens) Pizza, pop, play wii, crafts, prize drawings!
Looking to reward teens (15 & up) for "expressing themselves" by helping young children during storytime or craft times (1 time or more). Inquire at the library. Local business coupons awarded!
First Friday Book Club:
Meets at 10:00am on the 1st Friday of each month
at the St. Edwards Catholic Church in Longville.
